Salem Home: Dominoes is game of choice

The week began Monday with morning exercise and singing. Residents played dominoes and had a sing-along.

The women worked Monday afternoon on lap blankets.

Card players played pitch Tuesday morning. The Penner family came for games and songs. Residents played bingo later in the morning.

Sewing club gathered Wednesday morning. Residents enjoyed kickball and basketball. In the afternoon, arts and crafts activities included egg carton crafts.

John Ratzlaff presented a program Wednesday evening.

Memory games were played Thursday morning. Lutheran communion was offered. Women made necklaces and residents enjoyed popcorn and soda in the afternoon.

The Alexanderfeld music group sang Thursday evening.

Exercises and activities at the end of the week included bean bag toss and gospel singing.

Jane Vajnar was a visitor and read stories before a few games of bingo.
