School board to buy touch-screen panels

The Hillsboro school board approved purchase of 11 75-inch interactive panels Monday.
The LED touch-screens will be purchased from imageQUEST in Wichita for $40,477.58. The purchase completes a push to put an interactive screen in every classroom from kindergarten through 5th grade.
Tricia Williamson, a cook from the elementary school, resigned Friday. The board formally approved her resignation Monday.
Board members voted to buy a 10-passenger 2019 Ford Transit bus from Hillsboro Ford for $27,993.
Temporary suspension supervisors and activity trip bus drivers were approved for higher pay.
Supervisors will be paid $11.25 per hour, and bus drivers for field trips will make $9.94 per hour.
