The Hillsboro High School track team won the Moundridge Central Kansas Track League meet April 10.
Emily Sechrist set the Hillsboro High School record in the 1600-meter run with a time of 5 minutes, 32 seconds.
“She is a talented young lady who has only just begun making her impact in this sport,” head coach Dennis Boldt said. “She will find herself being challenged as we continue through our season and it will bring out even better results in the future.”
