Registration for the 32nd annual Kansas Senior Olympics is open. An estimated 800 athletes are expected to compete in Topeka.
The Senior Olympics offer competition for those 50 and older in 18 sports, including archery, badminton, basketball, bowling, cycling, golf, horseshoes, pickleball, racquetball, road races, shuffleboard, softball, swimming, table tennis, tennis, track and field, and volleyball.
Competition will run Sept. 19 to Oct. 4. Cost is $45 per athlete or $190 for a softball team if registered by July 31. Registration will continue until Aug. 14 with prices of $55 per athlete and $250 per team.
