Seniors celebrate V-J Day

Seniors recently celebrated the anniversary of the end of World War II, recognizing Victory over Japan Day a day early, on Aug. 14.

They also celebrated Bambi’s birthday on Aug. 13.

Teresa Enck volunteered as a beverage server this past week, and Bill Goentzel grilled burgers Aug. 13. He will be back to make burgers on Aug. 27.

Commodities were boxed up and distributed Aug. 19.
