NORTHWEST OF DURHAM: Seniors gather for potluck

Durham Senior Citizens met at the community building June 24 for a potluck dinner. Arlene Pankratz was hostess. There were 12 people present. Each person told an interesting anecdote about his or her wedding day.
Larry and Wanda Koehn had Wayne and Loralee Wiebe and family, Marcel and Wendy Unruh and family, and Marlin and Bethany Wiebe and family over for dinner on June 28.
Aaron and Janessa Herbel of Tampa, had Roy and Nadine Davis, Quinton and Dianne Unruh Jessie and Katie, Calla Wengar and Tim Davis over for dinner on June 28.
Nelson and Bev Wiebe and family, Travis and Sharon Koehn and family, Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family, and Wayne and Lora lee Wiebe and family were guests of Clayton and Betty Wiebe for supper on Saturday. They celebrated Kaylee Koehn’s 12th birthday.
Roy and Nadine Davis, Harry and Sheryle Rhodes, and Chet and Mellissa Boehs and family, Sandy Wiebe, and Terry and Robyn Schultz and family had supper on Sunday at the home of Ruth Boehs in Hillsboro.
Ransom and Lillian Wiebe celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary over the weekend during other family events. They hosted an open house Sunday at the Cottonwood School. Frank and Karen Unruh and their families, and Justin and Rebecca Wiebe and family of Iowa were among those attending.
Roy and Nadine Davis, and Gary and Crystal Davis and Carly, had hamburger fry July 4 at the home of Roy and Nadine.
The Larry Koehn family and the Warren Unruh family went to Montezuma and Joined the Starla Harms family on Sunday for a Dayton Unruh family reunion at which many out-of-state family attended.
