Settle appointed to
Kansas propane council
Craig Settle of Hillsboro, president of Cardie Oil and vice president of Shawmar Oil and Gas Company, has been appointed to the Kansas Propane Education and Research Council by Gov. Sam Brownback, the governor’s office announced Monday.
The council develops programs to promote consumer and employee safety and training, as well as providing research to improve propane technology.
Settle has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Kansas State University in Manhattan and a master’s degree in business administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
