Two Hillsboro High School volleyball players made MCAA first team.

Senior hitter Dakota Kaufman was a unanimous selection and senior setter Candace Weinbrenner earned first-team honors.

Senior hitter Taryn Mayfield made the second team and junior libero Allie Faul was an honorable mention.

Two Hillsboro football players earned spots on the MCAA first team.

Junior offensive lineman Ethan Franz and junior kick returner and defensive back Ben Bebermeyer were awarded first-team slots. Bebermeyer made the team as a kick returner and a defensive back.

Five Trojans also made second team — Bebermeyer as a receiver, senior Jacob Edwards as a tight end, and senior quarterback Jacob Fish earned spots on the second-team offense. Franz as a defensive lineman and junior Caleb Hilliard as a linebacker made second-team defense.

Junior running back Chance Reece was an honorable mention.
