A smart driver safety course will be offered from 8 a.m. to noon March 10 and 11 at the Hillsboro City Building.

The class is for all licensed drivers and will meet in the city building meeting room for two four-hour classes. No driving is required to complete the course.

Participants are required to attend both sessions in order to receive a completion certificate to present to insurance companies for a premium discount.

Richard and Marilyn Riemer of Hillsboro will teach the class. The class is $20, or $15 for AARP members. Those interested can sign up at Hillsboro Senior Center or call (620) 947-3453.
