Soccer academy registration open

Kids from kindergarten on up interested in learning and honing soccer skills can register for the fourth annual Tabor College Youth Soccer Academy, sponsored by the college’s women’s soccer team.

The academy will provide fun, positive, age and ability appropriate training sessions with competitive games at the college practice soccer field south of the football parking lot.

The academy will be March 27 through April 29.

Practices will be Tuesday and Thursday evenings, according to the following schedule: kindergarten, 4 to 4:30 p.m.; first and second grades, 4 to 4:45 p.m.; and third grade and up, 5 to 6 p.m.

Games will be Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons.

A $35.00 registration fee includes two T-shirts per player. Online registration through Hillsboro Recreation Commission is available at https://hillsboroks.recdesk.com/Community/Home. Deadline to sign up is March 21.
