Summer vacation officially is ending for many Marion County students as they begin a new school year.

Within the five school districts, the first day of class varies.

Here is the first day schedule:

Hillsboro USD 410 — Thursday.

Marion USD 408 — Tuesday.

Centre USD 397 — Aug. 20.

Goessel USD 411 — Aug. 27

Peabody-Burns USD 398 — Sept. 8.
