Stephen W. Fisher, 53, of Bel Aire died March 4 at Via Christi-St. Joseph in Wichita. He was born April 30, 1959, in Big Spring, Texas, to Monte and Carolyn (Cave) Fisher.

He was a computer scientist at Boeing for nearly 29 years. He graduated from Remington High School and Wichita State University. He married Magda Colón on June 19, 1999.

He is survived by his wife, Magda Fisher of Bel Aire; two children, Christina Montoya of Chandler, Ariz., and Jason Rodriguez of Ft. Campbell, Ky.; his parents, Monte and Carolyn Fisher of Whitewater; two sisters, Deanna Miller of Valley Center and Debora Buttĕl of Whitewater; and six grandchildren.

Visitation with family was Monday at Lamb Funeral Home, Whitewater. Funeral service was Tuesday at Federated Church, Whitewater. Interment was in Whitewater Cemetery.

Memorial funds have been established for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Federated Church.
