Four Tabor students who learned about entrepreneurship displayed their fledgling business enterprises Friday during an entrepreneurship fair in the Shari Fleming Center for the Arts.

Dillon Calloway talked to visitors about his start-up DCal Productions.

His business creates videos for customers. A sophomore business major from Tulsa, Calloway showed a digital camera mounted on a tripod with a balancing device that kept a camera level in any position.

Ethan Kutz talked about his business, Kutz Pressure Washing. A video of outdoor surfaces being cleaned, with before and after images, played on a monitor next to him. On a table before him was a spray wand with several nozzles.

Gainz Central, operated by Nathaniel Heilig, sells Peruvian “superfoods” including chia, spirulina, and pretostado, and harinas.

Jean Paul Fort, who markets neck pillows under the company name Upillow, said his approach was to go to high company officials and offer his wares.

The neck pillows can provide comfort, especially to athletes, Fort said.

“My main goal is helping student-athletes,” he said.

Central Kansas Entrepreneurship Center at Tabor launched in August and is available to any central Kansas entrepreneur.

Money for the center came from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the city of Hillsboro.

“Our dream is to inspire, educate, and mentor,” Tabor president David Janzen told audience members during a presentation after the entrepreneurship fair.
