Student to help lead FFA region

Centre student Kaitlyn Bina will become an officer of the south-central district of FFA.

After a two-minute speech to delegates at a district banquet later this year, she will be elected president or vice president.

She became a nominee after a lengthy interview process last month.

Other Centre FFA members qualified to represent the district at a state convention in May.

Kyle Peterson will compete for a State Star in ag placement.

District-level proficiency winners include Leah Brunner in beef production placement, Payton Svitak in forage production, and Jenna Bittle in landscape management.
