Registration for Studio 23’s dance camp in Hillsboro will be open until May 30. The camp, which runs June 10 to 14, costs $35 and will meet daily for 45 minutes.

Children ages 2 through kindergarten meet from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., while those ages first- through fifth-grade will meet 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. Dance attire or comfortable clothing is required.

Instructor Krista Matlock and staff also provide classes in other styles of dance, along with technique fundamentals. Some of the classes available include: ballet, tap, hip-hop, and a workout dance class for adults. To register, go to the HRC RecDesk site and search Dance Camp.

Yoga instructor Lesli Beery has intermediate yoga classes available 8 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays in the meeting room at Hillsboro’s City Hall. The class costs $5 a session for adults and $3 a session for high school or college students, which can be paid at each class.

Beery teaches modified yoga 7:15 to 7:45 p.m. Wednesdays at City Hall.

The modified class is geared toward beginners and participants with limited stretching. The cost is $3 a class, which can be paid at each session.

The deadline for Swim Team applications has been extended, and registration can be done at the RecDesk website.
