Tabor athletes win in classroom

Tabor College athletes excelled in the classroom as well on the playing field this past year.

Three Tabor teams — football, women’s indoor track and field, and women’s cross-country — had the highest overall grade-point averages among teams competing in their sport in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.

In all, 14 Tabor teams were among 83 KCAC teams honored for having team grade point averages of 3.00 or better.

The women’s cross-country team (3.702) had the second highest GPA of all teams in all sports in the conference.

Bethany College had the most teams honored — four, one more than Tabor.
