This year marks the 50th annual Tabor Church Mennonite Men chicken barbecue.

Chicken, baked beans, cole slaw, roll, and ice cream are on the menu.

The barbecue is 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Tabor Mennonite Church, 891 Chisholm Trail, eight miles north of Newton on K-15, then one mile east.

Donations will go to Circles Marion County and Mennonite Men Join Hands.
