Tabor College holds graduation ceremonies

Tabor College concluded its 99th commencement exercises Sunday at the campus gymnasium.

Ninety-five bachelor degrees and two associate degrees were handed to students from the Hillsboro campus.

Another 31 degrees were awarded to students from the School of Adult and Graduate Studies in Wichita.

“As our centennial year draws to a close, it was gratifying to see how the Tabor experience has once again shaped and prepared our graduates for a life of learning, work, and service for Christ and his kingdom,” said Tabor president Jules Glanzer. “The eyes are the window of the soul, and as I looked into the eyes of each graduate as I gave them their diplomas, I saw joy and satisfaction.”

Area Tabor College graduates receiving a bachelor of arts include, from Hillsboro: Jordan Michael Allen, Business Administration-Marketing; Jonathan Daniel Denning, Computer Science and Mathmatics; Cheri Lee Mount, Health/Physical Education; Thomas Mathew VanWart, Christian Ministry-Christian Leadership; and Eric Matthew Weinbrenner, Business Adminstration-Marketing; from Peabody, Mario Alan Nava, Health/Physical Education; from Marion, Jared D.
