Tabor College names coordinator: Kjellin fills position

Tabor College of Hillsboro recently announced that Amy Kjellin of Marion has been named academic support coordinator in the department of student success and career services at Tabor College.

She will oversee the career services area of the department with other responsibilities.

Previously Kjellin was director of residence life and counseling services at Central Christian College of McPherson and adviser/counselor for Hutchinson Community College at the McPherson Outreach Center.

As academic support coordinator, Kjellin will assist Tabor College students meet their academic goals and assist them as they enter their chosen careers. She also will mentor students and help coordinate tutoring at the college.

Kjellin is a graduate of Perry-Lecompton High School, holds a bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University and a master’s from Friends University. She and husband Doug have three sons, Erik, Andrew, and Adam.
