Tabor College recently launched a revamped website, www.tabor.edu, after the old site was overhauled to make it more functional and searchable.
Tabor College president, Jules Glanzer, saw the project as a way to promote the school visually.
“Our new website gives all who use it a visual image of what being part of the Tabor community is like,” Glanzer said. “The beauty of the campus, the joy on the faces, and the involvement of students learning are captured on the website.”
Ron Braun, vice president of advancement, says this project was much-needed.
“We wanted to make sure people searched through our site and stayed on it longer,” Braun said. “We want to be on the cutting edge of technology and create a website that everyone will find attractive. I think we accomplished that with our new design.”
A new alumni and friends page will be used to promote events and encourage support.
“The website connects Tabor College with the many constituencies that have interest in the school,” Glanzer said. “From interested prospective students, donors, alumni, friends and people wanting to know the latest news, the website is the place to go to connect.”
On the new website, a calendar will include academic, athletic, performing arts, and other events.
The project began in September of 2014 and launched in early February.
BitBrilliant, a website development company in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, completed the redesign.
