Tabor College junior guard Dewayne Biggs was selected by Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference men’s basketball coaches as the Newcomer of the Year. He played in all 29 of Tabor’s games and started a team-leading 26 games.

Biggs was also named to the KCAC second team, along with teammate Andrew Thomas, a junior forward. Freshman forward Lance Carter was chosen by the coaches for honorable mention and was selected to the all-conference freshman team.
