Tabor College students, staff, and faculty opened the 2016-17 school year with an academic convocation at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren church Aug. 30.

Tabor College President Jules Glanzer welcomed the group and expressed the faculty’s commitment to students’ education and mission of the college.

Assistant professor of accounting Jesse Schumacher gave the address titled “God’s Purpose in Your Generation.”
