Three Tabor College music majors will perform junior recitals at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Tabor College Chapel. The concert is free and open to the public.
Krista Neifert, a junior from Pratt, will perform “Notturno” by Charles Griffes and “Rhapsody in Blue” by George Gershwin, both on piano.
Sara Sagner, a junior from Cheney, will sing “He Was Despised” from Messiah by George Frideric Handel, “An die Nachtigall” by Franz Schubert, “Still wie die Nacht” by Carl Bohm, “Non so piu Cosa Son” from Le Nozze di Figaro by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, “Le Chateau Du Feve” by Augusta Holmes, “Le Temps des Lilas” by Ernest Chausson, “The Year’s at the Spring” from Three Browning Songs, Op. 44, by Amy Beach, and “Anything You Can Do” from Annie Get Your Gun by Irving Berlin. Senior pianist Cora Ruhl will accompany her.
Trevor Morris, a junior from Murdock, will sing “The Black Dress” and “Black is the Color of my True Love’s Hair,” both by John Jacob Niles, “Lydia” by Gabriel Faure, “Die Forelle” and “Du bist die Ruh,” both by Franz Schubert, and “Spirate Pur, Spirate” and “O Del Mio Amato Ben,” both by Stephano Donaudy. Sophomore pianist Zach Neumann will accompany him.
