Tabor College of Hillsboro was one of 14 Kansas community, school, and college libraries to receive an Interlibrary Loan Development Program (ILDP) grant from the State Library of Kansas.
A $3,000 grant was awarded to the college for materials related to the social welfare needs of children.
A total of $25,000 in grants were awarded through a competitive process and reviewed by an independent panel of judges representing schools, academics, and public libraries.
The ILDP encourages the use of grant funding to strengthen library collections and enhance resource sharing within the state. A total of 36 proposals requesting more than $60,000 were received.
To qualify for an ILDP, applicants agree to make materials in their collections available through interlibrary loan. Proposals are funded on the basis of their potential to improve the quality and breadth of resources available statewide.
