Tabor names new softball coach

Tabor College this past week named Jeff Brewer as softball coach.

Brewer came to Tabor after five seasons with Lyon College in Arkansas. As an assistant coach, he handled recruiting, and coached hitting and defense.

Before Lyon, Brewer was head coach of Pratt Community College’s baseball team for 10 seasons as the head coach, and was a talent scout for both the Cleveland Indians and Florida Marlins.
