Tabor soccer team undefeated in conference so far this season

The Tabor Bluejays soccer team improved to 3-0 in conference play after defeating Sterling and Southwestern last week.

The Bluejays won 4-1 in Sterling Wednesday and 2-0 Friday at home against the Moundbuilders.

The women’s team split its games, losing 0-2 to Sterling, but winning 1-0 against Southwestern.

Upcoming

The Bluejays play tonight against Kansas Wesleyan University. The women’s game starts at 5 p.m., followed by the men’s game at 7:30. Both teams travel to Wichita Friday to play Friends University.

Volleyball team loses to Division II opponent

The Tabor volleyball team traveled to Bethany, Okla. Monday, defeating Southern Nazarene University in the first game before losing three in a row.

Before that, the Bluejays won at home against Bethany and in Southwestern, three sets to one.

Upcoming

The Bluejays play at 7 p.m. tonight at home against Bethel College. They then play at 7:30 Saturday against McPherson at home.

Cross-country teams compete in NAIA preview

The Tabor men’s cross-country team placed 19th out of 30 teams at the NAIA Nationals Preview at Rim Rock in Lawrence. Joel Allen led the Bluejays, placing 16th overall and second among KCAC runners.

The women’s team placed 25th out of 30, led by Brielle Lund, who placed 38th overall and first out of KCAC runners.

Upcoming

The Bluejays run next Saturday at the NAIA Mid-States Classic in Winfield. The women run at 10:15 a.m., followed by the men at 11.
