Tabor teams picked to finish in the top half of conference

The Tabor College volleyball team was picked to finish second in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference by coaches in a preseason poll. The Bluejays were selected behind Kansas Wesleyan University.

Tabor received two of a possible nine first-place votes. Tabor finished 12-6 in the conference in 2012. There are 10 teams in the KCAC.

Women’s cross-country picked 2nd

Despite having 2012 individual conference champion Brielle Lund returning to the team, the women’s cross-country team was selected by coaches to finish behind Friends University.

Men’s soccer picked 3rd

The men’s soccer team received two first-place votes and was selected behind Kansas Wesleyan and McPherson College. The Bluejays were 13-7 overall and 7-2 in the KCAC in 2012.

Men’s cross-country picked 4th

Coaches picked the men’s cross-country team to finish fourth in the conference, behind Southwestern College, University of Saint Mary, and Friends.

Women’s soccer picked 7th

Coaches picked the Tabor women’s soccer team to finish seventh in the KCAC.
