Men’s team comes in 10th
Christina Addison was the top Tabor College finisher Saturday at the team’s home invitational meet.
Her time of 20 minutes, nine seconds in the 5k race was good enough for 15th place.
The Tabor women took seventh out of 15 teams.
Liz Kleinsasser (25th) and Jera Tesell (48th) were the other Tabor women to place in the top-50 out of 107 runners.
The Bluejay men were paced by Zac Remboldt who was 55th out of 126 in the 8K race.
His time of 29:29 was just three seconds ahead of Tabor’s Zach Gould.
Hillsboro High School graduate Ric Johnson was the next Tabor finisher at 58th.
“As a team we are just starting to get into race shape,” TC head coach Karol Hunt said. “So far that process is taking a little longer, but teams progress at different levels.
“This meet is one step toward reaching our major goal which is running at our best on Nov. 8 at the KCAC meet.”
Tabor will hit the course again Friday when the runners compete at the Jock’s Nitch Emporia State University invitational.
