Prairie Pals met Sept. 25 evening at the home of Iona Dietrich with Melissa Stuchlik assisting her mother as hostess. Others present included Mary Clemmer Eunice Steiner, Laveta Meyer, and Jane Vajnar. After a short business meeting and refreshments, the group painted pumpkins.

Bill Fillmore of Cottonwood Falls visited Tillie Hein Sept. 26 morning.

Lucille Kerbs accompanied Julie Kerbs to Abilene Sept. 25 evening to watch Taylor Thompson play volleyball. Others in Taylor’s cheering section included Doug and Connie Thompson and Jeremy and Allison Sluder and Brooklyn, all of Abilene.

Sunflower Senior Citizens were hosts for the Marion County Senior Citizens board meeting Sept. 21 morning. After the business meeting, the group enjoyed dinner at the cafe, and some got a sneak preview of the Tampa Trail Stop, which opened Sept. 22.

Lucille Kerbs went to Abilene Sept. 25, and her daughter Connie Thompson, took her to Salina for an appointment.

Bev and Tom Reid of Marion, and Brad Backhus, were Sept. 23dinner guests of Paul and Edna Backhus.

Tom Duggan was a Sept. 23 overnight guest of Darla Hall of Lee’s Summit, Mo.

Sept. 23 dinner guests of Russ and Julie Kerbs were Rustyn Kerbs of Hillsboro, Jesse and Ashton Smith and Sydney of Pilsen, and Lucille Kerbs.

Andrea Klenda of Pilsen visited her grandmother, Leona Kleiber, Sept. 22 morning.

Adeline Bernhardt joined the members of the Marion County Senior Citizens board Sept. 21 for dinner at the cafe.
