Members of the Red Hat Society enjoyed dinner, games, and refreshments on Feb. 6 in Abilene.

Joyce Cox and Dixie Kracke hosted the meeting. Others present were Ramona Gorakce, Anita Hummel, and Betty Schlesener of Hope; Alice Bell, Rose Mary Deines, Rhea Kolling, and Karolyn Schlesener of Herington; Ramona Beisel, Adeline Bernhardt, Dee Duggan, and Leona Kleiber.

The Saint John’s Lutheran Women’s Missionary League met Feb. 6 in the church basement to hear Pastor Clark Davis speak. Joyce Medley offered opening and closing devotions. Leona Kleiber hosted the meeting. Others present were Kathy Davis, Janet Bielefeld, Betty Mueller, Phyllis Mueller, Edna Backhus and Adeline Bernhardt.

Lucille Kerbs visited Leona Kleiber on Feb. 5. Terry and Cindy Vinduska were also recent visitors and helped her with some chores.

The Barney family organized a community game night Feb. 3 at the senior center.

Jesse and Ashton Smith and Sydney of Pilsen, Rustyn Kerbs of Hillsboro, Russ and Julie Kerbs and Lucille Kerbs enjoyed dinner Feb. 3 in Hillsboro.

Lori Moldenhauer and Lisa Hanschu visited Frank and Anna Mae Stika on Feb. 2.
