Teresa Tajchman

Mass of Christian burial for Teresa M. Tajchman, 94, Ramona, who died Saturday at St. Luke Hospital, Marion, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Pilsen.

Relatives will gather with friends 5 to 7 tonight at the church. Rosary will be at 7. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Born Aug. 8, 1928, near Fredonia to Charles and Beulah (McNett) Love, she worked briefly for Southwestern Bell before marrying Valerian H. Tajchman on June 8, 1963, in Wichita.

He preceded her in death along with two grandchildren and siblings Frieda Glover, Forest Hawkins, Faye Lawson, Bill Love, Ben Love, and Winnie Simon.

Survivors include children Vickie Jirak of Ramona, Jacqueline Jirak of Oakley, Clay Tajchman of Ramona, and Scott Tajchman of Hutchinson; sister Joan Barton; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
