In the absence of Pastor Brad Penn, who was attending a conference, the Cottonwood River Band provided the worship service Jan. 18 at the Baptist Church in Durham. Band members are Tim Diener, Richard Dirks, DeLayne Herbel, and Vince and Julie Jantz.
Jack Nickel spent the weekend of Jan. 17 and 18 with his grandparents, Tim and Donna Diener.
Amber and Tyler Schroeder of Newton were Jan. 13 supper guests at the home of Willis and Ruth Ann Penner to celebrate Amber’s birthday.
Clara Toews had the Terry Ens family of Cimarron and Rod Yost and daughter of South Dakota as guests Jan. 17 and 18 at her home.
Tim and Donna Diener and their grandson, Jack, were recent visitors at the home of Arlene Pankratz.
