Three cheers for cooperation
While standing in the Tabor College locker room Thursday evening, I looked out of the large glass windows and saw a field and stadium that could rival even larger colleges.
What an impressive sight!
The lush, green turf; rubber-coated track; modern stadium seating; press box; and concession stand are reminders of what can be accomplished when two entities work together.
The teamwork between Tabor College and USD 410 is proof that great things do happen when people work together.
As President Jules Glanzer has said more than once, the athletic facility is more than just a great place for high school and college football and soccer games and track meets; it’s also a recruitment tool.
What athlete wouldn’t want to play at Reimer Field? It certainly makes sense to have one fabulous facility that can be shared instead of two average facilities that require twice the maintenance and expense.
Way to go team Tabor and team USD 410!
