Hillsboro High School seniors Daniel Jost, David Loewen, and Clay Shewey each garnered attention by the Mid-Central Activities Association for their play during the 2008-09 season.
The trio helped lead the Trojans to a 14-8 record and sub-state runner-up finish.
Jost and Loewen found themselves on the first team, while Shewey was named to the honorable mention squad.
Jost was the team’s leading scorer at 14.1 points per game, while averaging 3.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2.5 steals per contest.
Loewen was a force on both offense and defense, averaging a double-double with 13.5 points and 11.2 rebounds per game.
He also recorded 1.5 assists, and 1.4 steals per game.
Shewey, who is headed to play basketball at Tabor College next season, also was a double-figure scorer with an 11.2 average.
The senior also hauled in 2.3 rebounds per contest.
