Amy Tippin, daughter of Dick and Norma Tippin of Hillsboro, has signed to play volleyball at Manhattan Christian College this fall.

A graduate of Elyria Christian School outside McPherson, Amy was named to the Wheat State all- league second team her junior and senior years.

“Amy is an aggressive and consistent hitter,” Manhattan Christian coach Lauren Sanders said. “She will fit right in and will be stepping right into the team in a starting role.”

Tippin said she would “pick up some kind of Bible major” at Manhattan Christian and get a dual degree in Spanish through Kansas State University.

“Being a part of the team will be an exciting experience that I am looking forward to,” she said, “and I am happy that God has given me the opportunity to continue my sports career.”
