Hillsboro High School scholars bowl team finished 1-4 in the Mid-Central Activities Association league meet Saturday at Nickerson.

The team won in its match against Lyons, 50-10. Losses were against Smoky Valley, 50-40; Sterling, 55-15; Hoisington, 40-20; and Halstead, 30-20.

Team members at the meet were Sam Bookless, Jonathan King, Briana Loewen, Daniel Gray, George Steketee, and Evan Wienck. The team travels Thursday to Thomas Moore Prep in Hays for regionals.
