The Hillsboro High School boys’ basketball team wrapped-up 2008 in convincing fashion Friday night in Sterling, downing the Black Bears, 58-43.
The victory moves Hillsboro a game over .500 at 3-2 on the year.
The Trojans jumped out to a 10-0 lead to start the first quarter, setting the tempo to grab a 13-3 edge after the first quarter.
Hillsboro got production from its bench with a trio of players finishing in double figures.
David Loewen scored a game-high 18 points, Daniel Jost added 16, and Clay Shewey, 12.
