Trojans take 3rd at home tourney

The Hillsboro High School volleyball team won the third-place match of the Trojan Invitational Saturday against Conway Springs, 25-15 and 26-24.

The Trojans lost in the semifinals to Minneapolis, 25-15 and 25-13.

Hillsboro defeated Sterling, 25-18 and 25-14 and Rock Creek, 25-15 and 25-16, in pool play. They lost to Pratt, 25-19, 21-25, and 14-25.
