Troy Scott Watts, 41, died Oct. 8 at Via Christi-St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita.

He was born Sept. 4, 1971, to Larry Watts and Sandra Sebree Watts in Newton. He worked as a carpenter.

He is survived by his father, Larry Watts of Peabody; a son, Isaiah Watts of Newton; and a grandmother, Betty Sebree of Peabody.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Sebree Watts; a sister, Denise Hamm; and a brother, Wyatt Watts.

The funeral was Friday at Peabody Christian Church with Pastor James Pohlman officiating. Interment followed at Prairie Lawn Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday at Baker Funeral Home.

A memorial fund has been established with the Celiac Disease Foundation.
