Two juniors, one sophomore recognized by HHS
Hillsboro High School named two boys and a girl as students of the month for April.
Juniors Katie Pritchard and Nick Ediger and sophomore Bryce Roberts received the honor this month.
Katie plays on the Trojan basketball team and is part of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
When not hitting the books or hardwood, Katie enjoys singing, drawing, painting, and outdoor games.
She is the daughter of Jon and Juana Pritchard.
Nick participates in choir, band, Leo’s, Technology Student Association, Spirit N Celebration, and is a member of the Trojan track and field team. With a bevy of activities on his schedule, Nick said he has little free time for anything else.
He is the son of Allen and Robin Ediger. He wants to pursue an education in either engineering or education.
Bryce is a member of the Hillsboro Chapter of FFA, South Cottonwood 4-H, Marion County 4-H Council, and United Methodist Youth Group.
Bryce’s interests are generally agricultural in nature.
“I enjoy horse and livestock contests,” he said, “I enjoy working with my 4-H and FFA livestock projects, I enjoy showing at various spring and summer shows across the state, and I enjoy working for Wooden Cross Cattle Company.”
After high school, Bryce hopes to join a community college livestock judging team. With two years of community college, he plans to transfer to Kansas State University and complete a degree in animal science or animal nutrition.
He is the son of Rickey and Sonya Roberts.
