The upcoming wedding of Jordon Wiebe and Katie Schmidt was announced Sunday at the Morning Star Church. The wedding will be July 16 at De Ridder, Louisiana.
Larry and Wanda Koehn arrived on Sunday from Gallup, New Mexico, where they are house parents at a children’s home. They will spend two weeks with relatives in the area and help at the home of Dalton and Lorna Wiebe.
Harry and Sheryle Rhodes and Ron and Jenalee Becker took their mother, Lela Wedel, out for dinner Sunday in Hillsboro.
Sunday evening visitors in the home of Richard and Charlotte Wiebe were Wendell and Linda Wedel, Sandy Wiebe, and Ruth Boehs.
Ransom and Lillian Wiebe’s Sunday dinner guests were Mark and Kris Wiebe, Kayla, Karalee and Luke; Aaron and Janessa Herbel and Kade; and Anthony Wiebe, Jamie and Tylan. Beth had gone to a funeral in Ohio.
Nelson and Bev Wiebe invited Clayton and Betty Wiebe, Merlin and Karletta Wiebe, Darrin and Meri Kay Rhodes and family, Gordon Koehn, and Katie Schmidt to their home in Durham for Sunday dinner.
