Velma Decker, 73, of Lehigh died May 7, 2012, in Lehigh. She was born Sept. 19, 1938, in Neodesha to Fred J. and Anna (Ratzlaff) Nightengale. She was a home school teacher and homemaker.
She married Ken Decker on Jan. 11, 1959, in Canton. He survives of the home.
She is also survived by two sons, Kent Decker of Lehigh and Darrel Decker of Albany, Ore.; one daughter, Melanie Franz of Hillsboro; three sister, Elsie Johnson of Mountain Grove, Mo., Edna Frank of Moundridge, and Virgie Koehn of West Point, Miss.; and five grandchildren.
Visitation with family will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cottonwood Valley Baptist Church in Hillsboro with Pastor Plato Shepherd officiating. Burial will be in Lehigh Township Cemetery, rural Lehigh.
