Vinduska reelected to corn commission

Terry Vinduska was recently reelected to the Kansas Corn Commission, representing District Five. He farms in northern Marion County and is a past officer of the U.S. Grains Council.

He is also a member of the National Corn Growers Association, Kansas Corn Growers Association, and Kansas Farm Bureau. He has a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from Kansas State University.

The Kansas Corn Commission is a farmer-funded advocacy organization that invests in research, market development promotion, and education for corn.

Kansas Department of Agriculture also announced elections to the grain sorghum, soybean, and wheat commissions. Clayton Short of Saline County was elected to the grain sorghum commission for District Five; Kent Romine of Barton County, soybeans; and David Radenberg of Barton County, wheat. Nobody ran for the Kansas Sunflower Commission.

Commissioners serve three-year terms that begin April 1.
