Volunteers needed

Marion Senior Center and Friendship Meals need the support of our community to help ensure the continuation of this wonderful resource. Often the value of a service is not realized until you have a need. I know this from my own experience.

Right now, volunteers are needed to deliver warm weekday noon meals to folks for whom it is difficult to get out.

The approximate time for volunteers is 1 ½ hours per day, per driver, for each of the two routes.

Or “come on down” to S. 3rd St. and join us for lunch there. “The price is right!” Help us maintain the numbers required to continue this program. It includes not only a meal, but fellowship, occasional informal programs, and guests, plus other activities.
