After a school program on May 22, Wendell and Linda Wedel had a birthday gathering for their grandson Caden’s 10th birthday. Guests were Greg and Charlene Wedel and family, Dale and Kathy Jantz, Troy and Marla Wiebe and family, and Travis and Connie Becker and family.
Clayton and Betty Wiebe had supper with Verle and Ruby Schneider of Georgia, Larry and Wanda Koehn, Chet and Mellissa Boehs and family, and Terry and Robyn Schultz and family on May 23.
Ron and Dora Unruh went to Olpe on May 20 to have dinner with Ron’s cousins. They later had dessert with Jim and Carol Hind near Madison. Other guests were Virginia Beemer and Andi Peterson.
Seniors from the Morning Star Church had a picnic on May 20 at Lakeside Park in McPherson.
Ransom and Lillian Wiebe had Sharon Redger, Mark and Kris Wiebe, Kayla and Luke, Pharon Redger of Pryor, Oklahoma, Joni Zeiset, Sandy Wiebe, Harry and Sheryle Rhodes, and Mke Reece of Hope over for dinner on May 25.
Mark and Barb Unruh and Sarah were guests of Doug and Sharon Loewen on May 24 in Hillsboro. A barbecue was held in honor of the Loewens’ daughter, Brianne’s graduation from college in Boston.
