Goessel High School students Ben Wiens, Carolin Wetzel, and Mark Schmidt all earned Division “I” ratings at Regional Piano Festival at Bethany College on February 4.

They advanced to State Piano Festival, held at Tabor College on February 18, where Wiens and Schmidt were awarded “II” ratings and Wetzel was awarded a “I” rating.

The pianists are students of Cynthia Goerzen, rural Goessel.
