Clayton and Betty Wiebe celebrated their 50th anniversary with an open house Sunday afternoon at Cottonwood Grove School.

Calla Wengar’s dinner guests Sunday were Roy and Nadine Davis and Dalton and Lorna Wiebe and family.

Mark and Barb Unruh are proud grandparents of Adilyn Jo Hendricks, born the evening of June 12 to Josh and Katelin Hendricks. She has a sister, Jayden, 23 months, to welcome her. Mark and Barb and Adilyn Jo’s Aunt Sarah went to get acquainted with her Sunday afternoon.

Lon and Deb Hiebert were Sunday afternoon visitors in the Ron Unruh home for Father’s Day. Other relatives stopped by, and some visited by telephone.

Everyone started to harvest wheat this past week but they were delayed by showers Thursday and Saturday.
