Hillsboro marketers are ready to sell lots in the city's new 72-acre development along Hwy. 56; however, a few of the details need to be worked out.
The Hesston Swathers swept away Hillsboro's chances at a state volleyball title after defeating the Trojans Saturday night in the championship round of sub-state. The girls ended the season with an overall 31-1 record.
The 31st Garlow reunion was held Oct. 8 at the senior citizen center in Hazelton.
Audrey Hett and Lance Hofer, both of Hillsboro, have been named to the 1994-95 Bethel College concert choir. Hett is performing as an alto in the group and Hofer is a tenor. The choir performs through the year on campus, in local schools, and in various communities.
The Tabor College campus has been recognized for its innovative approach to environmental protection by the national Wildlife Federation.
Dr. David Brandt, vice president and provost of Bethel College, St. Paul, Minn., will become the 11th president of Tabor College, according to Lee Jost, chair of Tabor College Board of Directors. The announcement was made Oct. 26. Brandt comes to Tabor with extensive administrative experience and a record of innovative program changes at Bethel, where he has served since 1988.
