Joe Steineger, president of the League of Kansas Municipalities, has appointed Hillsboro Mayor Delores Dalke to serve on the league's finance and taxation policy committee for 1993.
Members of the Salem Hospital Board and the St. Luke Hospital and Living Center met Thursday as an ice-breaker to possible meetings in the future. The preliminary meeting began at Kingfisher's Inn in rural Marion, where the two boards talked briefly about the current health system and how the two hospitals could possibly work together to help solve some of their problems by sharing services and facilities.
Esther Lindteigen had as her Easter supper guests Jim and Angie Gonzales of McCook, Neb.; Jeff and Cheryl Linteigen; Megen and Kristopher of McPherson; Kenneth and Deanna Lindteigen and David Tripp of Canton; Dean and Glenda Lindteigen and daughters, Josh Sullivan and Joe Sencer, all of Douglass; and great-granddaughter Whitney Lindteigen of Mulvane.
Ken Meisinger, American Family Insurance agent in Hillsboro, was named agent of the month for February by district manager Scott McCoy. Meisinger also received top 10 honors at the Kansas state convention. Meisinger has been with American Family for six years.
Grannie's Homemade Mustard of Hillsboro will be just one of the many "Made in Kansas" products during the Made in Kansas trade show at Century II Convention Center. Grannies' Mustard, made by Lydia Hein of Hillsboro, will soon be sold statewide and in Colorado.
