Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Pankratz and Krista were Dr. and Mrs. Robert Grauman, Harvey, N.D.; Mr. and Mrs. Allen Flick and Brian of Garland, Texas; and Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Thiessen of Cunningham. Saturday evening guests to visit were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Jost of Marion, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Delk, and Mr. and Mrs. Allen Heinrichs.

Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Wiens hosted Mr. and Mrs. Walter Gollnick of Madison, Minn., from Tuesday until Monday.

Jim Schroeder, a 6'2" senior at Hillsboro High School, is the new career scoring leader with 704 points. Schroeder edged past James Franz, who finished his career in 1956 with 695 points.

John Craft of Salina was hired as instructor in science for Hillsboro High School. Craft was hired as a one-year replacement for Paul Jantzen, who will teach at Bethel College next year on a one-year leave of absence.

Mrs. Elinor Williams celebrated her 103rd birthday with a party. Several of her relatives, among them Mrs. Fred Jacobson and Mr. Carl Nelson, were on hand at Salem Hospital to help celebrate.

Athletic director Delmer Reimer has announced the appointment of Max Terman and Don Brubacher as coaches of varsity baseball at Tabor College for the 1978 season.
